Can anyone tell me what webcams and programs (Skype or Skype alternatives) will work well on LM 17.3 MATE or Ubuntu MATE running on a Lenovo Thinkpad T61? Also, what is the minimum broadband speed to get good performance with a webcam? Despite using Linux since 2006 I am a complete newbie with this type of technology. Thanks in advance.
Hi rbeltz, pretty much looking into this myself.
This seems to be a go to camera for live stream, skype etc and it works on linux.
