Hi. I’m having trouble connecting to Webmin running on my RPi 3. I can ping the RPi, remote desktop it using Remmina but cannot connect from Firefox when I type in the address (https://192.168.1.102:10000). There is no firewall running on either system. (My main system is running LM 17.3 KDE) Any ideas? Thanks.
What web server is webmin running in?
Have you tried Remmina’ing onto the desktop and running firefox on the pi and hitting up webmin using the local loopback IP address?
Also, check httpd logs for clues.
Not on a RPi but I’m looking at: Webmin -> Webmin Configuration -> IP Access Control settings that could be involved.
And I believe Webmin uses it’s own web server.
I’m pretty much a Linux newbie. How do I check which web server it’s running? I tried the loopback address and still received the “unable to connect” message.
Oh yeah, some miniserv perl doohickey. Probably needs its ssl fixing if it’s not working on localhost even.
