Ctrl + Alt + Numbpad 8 Place window in top half of screen not working, also + 4,5,6 etc
So I used to be able to shift a terminal screen anywhere on screen. Help please, I'm too lazy to drag screens
According to the 20.04 blog post, they did change:
- Maximise Window: Super + Up
- Restore Window: Super + Down
- Title Window right: Super + Right
- Title Window left: Super + Left
- Center Window: Alt + Super + c
- Title Window to upper right corner: Alt + Super + Right
- Title Window to upper left corner: Alt + Super + Left
- Title Window to lower right corner: Shift + Alt + Super + Right
- Title Window to lower left Corner: Shift + Alt + Super + Left
However, when I checked in 20.04 and 20.10, they don't seem to be working for me. I've flagged this to the team, since the documentation in Welcome will need amending.
Thank you Luke.No rush for the answer.

Dave
I switched to Linux a year ago, still pretty green, and recently installed 20.04 with MATE on an external SSD with a USB 3.0 connection. MATE runs OK for the most part, but there are some quirks that are giving me pause, and hoping someone could point me in a useful direction.
None of the keyboard shortcuts in the MATE Welcome window work, including Ctrl + Alt + t. However, within an open terminal keyboard shortcuts like Shift + Ctrl + T do work.
I'm guessing there is a config file somewhere where these shortcuts are defined, but I'm at a loss as to where it would be and what should/shouldn't be edited.
Thanks,
Ben
