What are these white icons in the panel up there?

Again, a question for/by a newbie:

What are these three white circles with arrows, 9 and A, between the Bluetooth icon and the Mega one ?
They weren't here, now always there. Since last update run.
May be it would be indication of some (minor) issues I have....

Those would indicate the same as the LEDs on your keyboard (scroll lock, number lock, caps lock). To get rid of them, go to Mate Tweak>Panel and uncheck ‘Enable keyboard LED’.

Not sure if it merits a new thread, so while we’re on topic, does anyone know if there’s any easy way to have the keyboard LED indicator on the bottom panel? Any point in having it as an applet instead, with some customisation options?
