Is it OK to bring this topic back to life? A forum is not a forum if there isn’t such a topic like this

I’m listening to KISS - “Hide Your Heart” https://youtu.be/-hkkPsj97os

This song has got a bit of a history on its back. It was first composed by Paul Stanley, Desmond Child and Holly Knight for KISS album “Crazy Nights” (1987) but somehow they cut it out. Next year Bonnie Tyler picked it up and made a hit out of it, so Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley realised they screwed up when they rejected it, and then they made it the #1 hit on their next album, “Hot In The Shade” (1989).

Bought these two back in the 90s. I’m not really a Dream Theater fan, but love these two albums.

I have some Gary Clark Jr. single songs. I also am a fan of Blues/blues rock. I have 2300 blues/blues rock songs on a USB drive for my truck. They include regular songs, blues jams and instrumentals. I also have hundreds of blues/blues rock albums. I almost never listen to the radio anymore.. I do stream now and then, just to find new songs I like. It’s taken me over twenty years to put my collection together. I started buying CD’s when you could listen to them with headphones at Barnes and Nobles. When streaming came along I then bought mostly singles online. That also let me find a lot of independent artist you would have never heard of otherwise that offer their own songs for download on their own sites

Here is a guy you might want to check out from my state Superior WI. He lived with Bob Dylan for a time too:

Looks like everybody everywhere every time are listening something. Am I an apostate for enjoying listening silence, I wonder?

On the contrary. I do enjoy the silence too. :slightly_smiling_face:

Not at all, silence is golden. I love the only sound to be a slight breeze which is more felt than heard.
