What does your RAM idle at?

I'm curious to see what everyone's computers idle at because I'm obsessed with getting my computer to use as little resources as possible.

I think for Ubuntu MATE 16.04 I've got it running pretty good at a modest 481MB while idle. How is yours running?

Ubuntu MATE 15.10 here, running Compiz and NVIDIA's drivers:

As soon as I log on:

It starts ranging around 1.1GiB - 1.4 GiB on average with just an e-mail client and Chrome open. The system hardly ever swaps.

But at the end of the day after many hours, the cache builds up in some apps and ranges between 1.0 GB to 1.5 GB when idling with no programs open.

Indicator Multiload is nice too for monitoring usage:

I have noticed a significant increase in RAM usage since 15.10. I do have dual monitors with two Chromes per windows with multiple tabs.

About 560 MiB. However I do have 16 GB RAM and onboard Intel graphics. I use Marco with compositing.

After seeing all your screenshots, I got inspired to try to get my usage lower. I have it down to 425 now
