What goes on when my computer goes to suspend?
It often takes 10 seconds to go to suspend.
What the he*l is going on ?
Processes are closing, buffers are written to disk, etc etc etc.

System is creating a bit-by-bit digital duplicate as a SNAPSHOT on disk that will be copied back into memory at restart from suspend.
That take time!
