Tilda bugs me every startup to supply a key sequence for the Terminal function…I use Mate Terminal and don’t want or need the functionaliities provided by Tilda. Can I disable it ?
I use 14.10 and I do not have Tilda (so far I use guake) but from a video Martin released previously, I understood that you just need to do system > preferences > startup applications (also to be found via the control center) and uncheck Tilda. Next time you restart Tilda will not be enabled.
And to remove completely:
sudo apt-get remove tilda

I love guake but have conditioned myself to Ctrl+alt+t so typically use mate terminal myself
