Hi, everyone

So, if I am reading the internet correctly, Thunderbird is just not going to be supported by Mozilla anymore, but they are going to continue?
Not that it matters to me much as I use Evolution, but just curious.
Nooo, Thunderbird's still alive and well!
Thunderbird versions are based on the Extended Support Release (ESR) version of Firefox ESR, which is why it jumps from 115 โ 128, etc.
The release notes are simply saying there are no more updates for the 115 series. That'll allow Mozilla to focus on 128 and the next versions:
Thunderbird 115.18.0esr is the final release of Thunderbird 115.
TLDR for 22.04 users: Nothing changes, Ubuntu will continue patching security vulnerabilities.
TLDR for 24.04 & users upgrading: It's now a snap..
