It depends on your hardware.
Some new systems (for example released in i.e. Q1'21 and later) with NVMe drives and/or new CPUs and/or modern chipsets may require newer kernel. In such cases you'll need alternative stable version from
https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
which is based on Ubuntu 21.10 Impish Indri.

Thanks for the hardware background. I'm getting a laptop [HP ProBook i5]. For it when 22.04 LTS is released. where will I get the suitable Clonezilla-Live. [Ubuntu version] ?
