Who do I file this bug against?

I am running Mate on top of CentOS 7 + X window system. Works great. On my new workstation I came across a bug in Seahorse (the Gnome password tool) which I reported YEARS ago I think in CentOS 6 or perhaps Ubuntu 9.10. I have reproduced it in Ubuntu Mate 16.04 so it appears that it was never addressed. My question is - what path should I use to report the bug?

I cannot report it to CentOS/Red Hat as Mate is not supported there. It may well occur in CentOS 7 Gnome but I do not have such a machine setup at the moment.

If I look at the Seahorse project page it appears to be a part of Gnome. Can I file a Mate bug against Gnome? I am at a loss. Any advice?

TIA,

Ken

I would say file it with launchpad.

An easy way to file is in terminal, but you must have a launchpad account.

ubuntu-bug seahorse

And that will take you to launchpad.

Thanks v3xx,

I have a launchpad account. Let me look up my credentials on my old CentOS 6 machine and transfer them to my Ubuntu Mate 16.04 virtual machine running on my new CentOS 7 machine… I have too many machines - and that is not even counting my 3 servers and several other desktops
