Why does Pluma look like this?

In my machine, Pluma looks like this:

What's up with the right side? It looks like a separate pane, but it's not... is it supposed to look that way or is it a bug?:confused:

Mine looks exactly like that so am guessing that is how it is supposed to

  1. Start pluma
  2. Click Edit -> Preferences from the menu bar
  3. Deselect Display right margin

Wow man that worked like magic! Thanks a lot…:smiley::smiley:

If anyone's interested, the right margin acts as a hint to when it's best to break into a new line (default being 80 columns). That's to help text files being opened in the terminal or small windows, otherwise text would break mid-way through words. :slight_smile:
