Why is software updater trying to install phablet-tools and failing?

And its causing an error:

root@kahuna:~# apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists… Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information… Done
You might want to run ‘apt-get -f install’ to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
phablet-tools : Depends: repo but it is not installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.

Seems its part of the Ubuntu-sdk IDE, something I’ve installed but not yet tryied to use.

I seem to have fixed the issue using Synaptic with “repair broken packages” which put up an error message about phablet-tools and a couple of mark all updates, apply with a reload in between.

Maybe this is just a race condition with some repo updates and I had bad luck with my automatic updates timing.

I’ll find out later today if my wife’s machine has the issue, but I don’t think I installed the Ubuntu-SDK IDE on her system.
