Why there is no RPI-Update command in Ubuntu-Mate 18.04.2 on Raspberry Pi 3B

How come there is no rpi-update command in Ubuntu-Mate 18.04.2 32 bit version on Raspberry Pi 3B

That has been removed due to changes post 16.04 Ubuntu MATE for the Raspberry Pi.
