I know this is petty, but I am asking more for curiosity than anything.
I am using the brave browser, and the icon on the top left (on the title bar) isn’t showing the brave icon, but instead it shows a grey square (generic icon I think). The launcher icon is fine, and the .desktop file is ok.
I tried duckduckgoing around but everything I find has to do with the launcher icon and doesn’t help me. Does anybody have any ideas?
Any help would be appreciated.
Just installed the brave browser too and am getting the same behavior, running a fully patched system.

I am guessing it might have something to do with them not having an icon for that size or something.
Does anyone know where those icons would be saved so I can try to manually make an icon and see if that’s the case?
You can store an icon anywhere in your home folder and then, if you right-click the launcher and select the icon box, you can navigate to and link to the icon you have stored. I have a sub-folder I’ve created in my home folder for precisely this purpose called “my-icons”.

In this case the launcher icon is fine. I was wondering if there was a specific default location kept for smaller icons (the ones for the window title bars) that maybe the people at brave didn’t make an icon for and I could manually make one and put there?
