XVinfo: "No Adaptors Present" [15.10, RPi3]

Hi all,

Just wondering if there’s a way to get the XVideo extension working on the RPi3? I’m currently running UbuntuMATE 15.10, and I’m trying to get a gstreamer0.10 reliant project running. The dependencies are all fine at this point, I just can’t initialise any XV output. Running xvinfo gives me “no adaptors present”.

Hi,
Xv will not work until we have a video driver which implement it.
You need to activate opengl driver (and it is buggy and dirty for now) to have xv if it is implemented in the driver, I am on vacation I cannot test it.
