Zoom no longer showing up in Plank preferences

Hi! So, when I first installed Ubuntu MATE a couple days ago, Plank was working fine with no issues. But since I ran an update, the zoom option has disappeared from the Plank preferences window and I no longer have the zoom effect. Does anyone know why this happened and is there a way to fix it?

just in case you missed something in settings?:

Another option would be to re-install Plank!.

I tried all that, nothing worked. I ended up removing Plank and replacing it with Docky, since I found a way to get its dependencies despite being removed from the repositories in 20.04.
