I just came from mate 16.04, as far as I can remember, caja was able to remember my last set width. Now, I'm on mate 18.04, caja won't remember the column width I last set..everytime I open new window, It just goes back to default width. Is there any way I can make it remember my setting?
I know I am off topic, but Caja doesn't retain "Notes" either as a file attribute.
If I get it right, the problem persists for more than a decade. Surprisingly, there are only two meaningful references to it and, alas, it was not resolved.
Caja remember the last column width when i ran ubuntu mate 16.04 so this is strange..
Bug (or feature) from the past is not that a rare thing...
