I keybind Windows (Mod4) L to lock screen. After upgrading to 17.10, this keybind doesn’t work anymore. I can use other keybind (e.g. Alt + L) to lock screen though. Configuring Super L for other action (e.g. launch firefox) also doesn’t work.
Similar to this topic, but it had always work until 17.10.
Do you have the advanced menu (mate-menu) on the panel? If so, check whether its shortcut is set to Super key (alone).
Default for lock-screen in 17.10 is “Ctrl + Alt + l” just in case anyone else is interested!.
Thanks for the suggestion on mate-menu. After some searching, I found this thread. Somehow Super L is replaced by marco during upgrade. Removed it using dconf-editor.
