I was desperately looking for a way to modify the title bar of the Ambiant-MATE theme. I like the theme overall but would like the title bar to be flatter.
Is there a way to do it?

PS. Icon pack recommendations are welcome too. I use Numix now, but I’m not too fond of it.
Try Arc-Dark-Theme with papirus icon theme.

the closest thing I can think of is Mint Y from Linux mint, and I agree Papirus Icon theme
Thanks! Mint Y does look nice, but sadly text colors don’t play nice in the panel and menus in the “Darker” version, so I have to use full “Dark”.
Regarding the icons - do you know of any other icon set that has yellow folders like Numix? I can’t get used to the blue or green folders that are in every other icon set I’ve seen.
papirus has grey version, it’s not yellow but it’s not blue or green either
