Hi I'm new to ubuntu mate version 20.04 LTS When I install a low latency kernel my graphics card settings are dumped off back to 1024768 and cannot be adjusted bak to my usual settings of 16801050. Any advice would be welcome with open arms.

what are the specs of your computer, it may help to determine what is wrong?.
If you have an older computer, it might suffer the same as the following SIS chipset. 
What do you mean by low latency kernel?.
