How can I get my desktop system to use a GeForce GTX 1050 card?

Thanks Mr. Pavlos.

Is there a spot on the Mother Board where I can tap in and use the 12 volt d.c. current ?

I have a 12 volt external power supply, but I would like to make it look fairly pretty.

the molex connectors (red[5V], black [GND], black [GND], yellow[12V]) provide 12V & 5V. Look at the label of the fan, it may say 5V since I see 3 pin connectors which should be 5V.

If re-installing is an option for you - then, yes, I would do that because your package sources seem broken e.g. the error you reported:

It is possible to fix this without re-installing if you end up needing to.

The power connectors are 3 black wires.

I assume that 2 of the 3 leads as shown are for the d.c. voltage and the other is for fan speed regulation.

I am sure that that Nvidia is not aware that red is generally positive while black is negative. That may be their story and they are sticking to it.

P.S. Hewlett Packard gets the gold star for making the hardest product for dis-assembly.

I fished a printer out of a dumpster.

I am known as a known as a dumpster diver.

As a retired chemist, I wanted to know how it worked and what could I do to
uses some of it's parts.

At one point, I had to use a hammer to disassemble it.

After about 6 or 7 blows I decided to give up.

this is a molex connector
