How to add custom keyboard commands/shortcuts to Mate-terminal?

Hi!

Is it possible to add custom keyboard commands/shortcuts to Mate-Terminal?

When yes how?

I want add a command via keyboard shortcut and when I press the keyboard shortcut it should be executed in Mate-terminal.

Hi, @mate2go. Any script can run in a terminal. Here's an old one that allows me to hit a hotkey and switch text wrapping in Pluma.

Is that what you mean?

Hi @ Bill_MI

I am looking for something with which
I can do in Mate-Terminal for example not always enter
"script-name.sh" in Mate-Terminal.

I know that with "mate-keybinding-properties" I can
keyboard shortcuts.

I would like to have something with which I can directly
in mate-terminal keyboard commands of my "bash scripts" without always typing the "script-name.sh".

The Mate-Terminal has no user-programmable hotkeys.
But maybe using bash 'alias' function is something for you.

@ tkn, yes,
this could be exactly what I was looking for, I will try the days times, thanks
