Hello all, I’m
running Ubuntu Mate 16.04 on a HP Pavillion laptop with a Kodak
Verite 55 attached. Downloaded and installed Linux Scan, PPD, and
printer utility drivers. I can print OK but when using XSANE
scanning software it does not detect the printer. Any ideas folks?
Removed some unnecessary code in the original post.
There’s a very useful program which I’ve used my self at work with legacy scanners (high investment value). It’s been mentioned here before:
It’s called “VueScan Scanner Software” (http://www.hamrick.com/)
They list the following driver as being included:
Kodak i55 Driver See: (https://www.hamrick.com/vuescan/kodak.html).
As far as I know you can try it for free.
