@Frieder_Saugschmerle what are you using to modify the theme? Looks like that may be something I am interested in trying out to create a new theme?
Im using sassc, sublime text, meld, gimp and some scripts written in lua and bash.

This is one of my boxes with two 1600x1200 monitors - A win10/Mate 22.04 dual boot - I also have other distros as guest OSs via virtualbox in both installs - in this case Mate and Ubuntu Desktop.
Mate on both
Each on their own monitor.
I really like your taste of music
b.t.w. what textmode radio-player do you use ?
It's called pianobar. You need a free Pandora account to use it, but it's ad-free. Every now and then, like twice a month, it will crash or quit working. But it always comes back after a few minutes or after restarting the process.
I already posted here a few months ago, but since then made some changes and now I'm much more satisfied with the result.
Another design idea. Sadly i lack the time to fully implement all isdeas i have in mind but this 9is good enough to show here i believe. Posted it ion gnome look as NaturalDesign.
Welcome @mattman to the community!
thank you! i just arrived here from windows and i can honestly say im having a much cleaner experience
If you feel bad about your system specs, cheer up! They're positively great compared to mine (though I should maybe be posting these in the separate "Post your system specs" thread):
If you're wondering, this is a laptop from 2008, and that CPU was aimed at the budget market even when it first came out in 2006. So compared to my hardware, your Zen 2 Zen + based system is state of the art! My sincerest congratulations to you.
EDIT: My apologies -- I initially mistook that CPU of yours for a Zen 2, when it's really a Zen +. Still, my compliments remain valid -- nice laptop!
Here is mine!
The wallpaper is Death on the Pale Horse, by Gustave Doré (1865). But of course I use it because it also the artwork for the cover of one of my absolute favourite EPs.
