Hello, it goes anywhere. It seems that it is too sensitive in Ubuntu mate. I tried to adjust it in the mouse options, but no change occurs. I tried it on Windows and it works fine. It’s wireless KCL-10 wireless, I can not find the manufacturer on the internet. Somebody could help me. I would be grateful.
what version of UM are you using
maybe this post solves your problem.
Ok, then if it were me, I would do the following:
Open a blank Pluma document (you can find Pluma in the "applications/accessories" menu)
Paste the following into it:
sleep 5
xinput --set-prop "USB Optical Mouse" "Device Accel Constant Deceleration" 4
xinput --set-prop "SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad" "Device Accel Constant Deceleration" 6
Save the document somewhere in your home folder as "mouse-set.sh"
Open Caja and navigate to where you have the "mouse-set.sh" file stored and right-click…

Hi @rdsparla , If you are running 16.04 I can vouch for this fix...
Something I noticed the last few years - mice are WAY too wild for me! Combine that with mismarked mouse settings and it was unbearable, especially when Windows has better control - insulting!

Have you noticed "Sensitivity" seems to do almost nothing for you? That's because it used to be labeled "Threshold" which it what it actually still is. At the low (left) setting it takes almost no quick movement to trigger acceleration while at the high (right) setting it takes more quick mov…
But the same hardware has no issue with 18.04.
