Remove indicator applets for unused apps like accessibility settings

I am trying to get rid of the accessibility settings icon in the top panel of Ubuntu Mate 24.04. It won't let me attach a screenshot here. It is the little blue man with his arms stretched out to his side. I have already disabled the accessibility features, and tried mate-tweak, dconf-editor, etc, but can't get rid of it.
I have tried everything and I still can't get rid of it... would also like to remove the battery icon as well.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Paul

Hi, @Paul_Stafford!

The easiest way is to exclude these indicators from startup applications and relogin. The image is self-explanatory.

Don't it took me a while to figure it out too. You also might want to look at this post:

Battery indicator applet doesn’t show percentages

The additional applet on the mate panel will keep crashing and often fail to load.
