Steam won’t install via software boutique

Hi There,

I wanted go to install steam and started the process via the software boutique. But I could not and got this error message.

I was also unable to install via CLI. Any ideas?

I can't reproduce your problem even on 20.04 LTS.

You can try the following to install Steam:

sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
sudo add-apt-repository multiverse
sudo apt-get install steam:i386
Ubuntu MATE 20.04 LTS Beta Testing
