Ubuntu Mate 16.04 for Ubuntu Studio

Two of my favorites - Mate desktop and Ubuntu Studio. I want Mate as my only desktop, but need all of the goodies from Ubuntu Studio, such as low latency kernel, jack, lmms, musescore, frescobaldi, etc. How do I get the Ubuntu Studio kitchen sink so to say, with Ubuntu Mate 16.04 as the base?

I like Ubuntu Studio. I don’t like the XFCE desktop that comes with it. I do like Ubuntu Mate. So, I figured out how to install all of the relevant meta packages from Ubuntu Studio, including the low latency kernel (many of the Ubuntu Studio apps wont work without it).
