ISSUE:
-
I try to dload 20.04 from "Choose a architecture|Download" link.
-
I choose 64bit PCs/Macs
-
I am redirected to a 'tip' page. But no downloading starts, nor a link I can find.
Question:
How much do I tip in order to download the full-blown non-lite complete Ubuntu-Mate 20.04 LTS version? I do not enjoy spending money on something that may not even work for my system. If I get things to work, I usually contribute. 18.x didn't work for me with Tor or networking with Windows so I was hoping to do a clean install and try again.
Thanks for reply,

can you try again?
just followed your link, there are 3 steps at the top ...
choose an architecture
choose a release
choose a download
and I get the iso via torrent or direct. I can see the checksum at the bottom.
Thanks for jumping in,
For "Fresh Install". I chose https://ubuntu-mate.org/download/amd64/focal/ taking me to https://ubuntu-mate.org/download/amd64/focal/, and I chose "Direct download", which took me to 'Download Tip' and I moused over every word and nothing provides a download.
As a test, I also tried BitTorrent link, but too jumps to Tip age with Dloads.
I don't mind paying to dload, since 18.x worked OK'ish for me, sans being able to install TOR or networking with Windows. But I don't pay to try on a new pair of jeans
JUST TESTED AGAIN and this is where it is supposed to go http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-mate/releases/20.04/release/ubuntu-mate-20.04-desktop-amd64.iso but this is where it takes me https://ubuntu-mate.org/download/amd64/focal/thanks/
I really do appreciate your help,

when you click direct download, your browser (which ?) should pop a smaller window to save the iso
Seems to be a browser issue ...

Thanks for that. I am using Windows 7 to dload and latest Chrome. So I omitted the "wget" and used the rest - it woiked! Thanks very much.
