Apparently the United Nations organization wants me to restart my computer? What?
Yes, I would have posted in one of those threads since they already exist, but the forum software chided me for trying to do so, indicating that the thread was closed so I made a new thread.
Mostly to point out that the issue is still happening.
You better point this out on the bugtracker, where the devs can read it:
You, and other people who are affected, should click this option:
This bug affects 3 people. Does this bug affect you?
Because that's the only way to point out that the issue is still happening.
By the way, you see that?
According to the site only 3 people are affected so it has low priority.
Ofcourse there are many more but the rest is too lazy to even file a bug or click the aforementioned 'me too' button. ![]()
Proudly sitting here as one of the 3 people affected by this bug ![]()
I understand that. I simply posted those links in case you hadn't seen them so that you would have a starting point.
+1 - it affects me everytime I upgrade, then I do the workaround and it doesn’t affect me again until I upgrade to next LTS
I’ve never experienced this issue, maybe because I do not upgrade, I do a fresh install whenever a new LTS is out. I select Yaru themes, either dark or light, depending on the desktop backroung I’m usig at the time.
Still, the question is, what is a 640x480 United Nations flag doing on our hard drives? Is this just an Ubuntu MATE issue or other flavors may experience it? I can understand when it’s a country flag, because of the language and regional settings, but the U.N. flag? ![]()
Affects me too, most recently yesterday. Does adding a comment up the count, or do I have to do something else? Seems to trigger anytime and upgrade requires a reboot.
