Why are you saving these files as jpegs? Are they lossless?

I use PNG because that format is lossless, rather than JPG which is often used for compression.

File size mainly, this website will not let me upload if over a certain file size.

I do enable it on mate, always. As i am use to have such notification. But in my case i cannot replace the default fire tray icon, and maybe that is what VtvBreech simply did. But in the picture it really looks like Unity/Xubuntu notification area.

If file size is such a concern, why not use an image sharing service?

We don’t decry against that, there’s no shame to be had if you can’t fit your work under the alloted file size limit and need to use [img] tags!

I would rather you provide your best than let this website’s uploader limit you.
