Here's another update on my desktop. I found out WindowsFX is Ubuntu MATE (from the login screen), so here it is.

Looks like Cinnamon to me (especilaly since your screenshot shows Nemo as a file manager).

It is MATE because the Login window looks awfully similar to it. But yes, it is the Cinnamon desktop. (The login screen is the same but with a different cursor)

It is a greeter for LightDM, the display manager.

It's not part of the MATE Desktop and is used by many distributions.
Since you know this is the Cinnamon Desktop environment (and not MATE), you know as well this screenshot of a distribution that steals assets from Microsoft Windows 10 has nothing to do in the Ubuntu MATE screenshots post.

Here's my changed desktop, changed it so it would fit my personality more.
Also, got the Raspberry Pi 400 so I got Ubuntu MATE on it up and running perfectly!

I like your wallpaper How did you do that with Terminal?
This is fish shell with shellder theme. You must first install powerline fonts
sudo apt install powerline
then use omf to install shellder. Maybe this help:

That Ubuntu MATE logo really ties in with the wallpaper. Honestly, that and 18.04's wallpaper is my favorite

This theme is amazing.
Simple and clean.
The Black/Red combination here is too gloomy to me. But personal choices can't be argued.
Well thank you for the compliment. I am using the Yaru dark red theme and a background that I had saved and used many years ago. I can only hope that the Nvidia Graphics drivers can be patched to work with the latest kernels so I can get a couple more years on this old thing.
I had to move to Mint with Mate desktop to keep support for the Nvidia-340 graphics driver but I haven't got the Yaru theme yet.
